Description

Packed with practical tools, this book equips therapists and counselors to offer life-saving, affirming care to transgender and gender-expansive youth in today's constantly changing sociopolitical landscape. It presents principles and skills that are grounded in research and community endorsement, and that can be integrated into any clinical approach. Vivid stories center the experiences of transgender young people, their caregivers, and their therapists. Step-by-step instructions help providers implement gender-affirming practices.
